      VT Attorney General Charity Clark to Visit Bennington County
Bennington County Senators Seth Bongartz and Robert Plunkett will host Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark for a series of community events in Bennington County on Monday, October 27th. Community members are encouraged to attend any or all of the events: a round table discussion in Manchester and Arlington and an evening town hall in Shaftsbury. We encourage community members to bring their questions and concerns for Vermont Attorney General Clark and Vermont Senators Bongartz and Plunkett.

      Dorset Town Committee Caucus and Reorg
The Dorset "Reorg" will be on September 30th at 9:30am at the Dorset Green.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Dorset and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Dorset Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.
        
      
      Rupert Town Committee Caucus and Reorg
The Rupert "Reorg" will be on September 26th at 6:00pm at the R.K. Kittay Public Library.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Rupert and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Rupert Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.
        
      
      Sunderland Town Committee Caucus and Reorg
The Sunderland "Reorg" will be on September 17th at 5:30pm at the Sunderland Town Offices [TBC].
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Sunderland and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Sunderland Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.

The Peru "Reorg" will be on September 25th at 5:30pm at the Peru Town Center.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Peru and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The Bennington "Reorg" will be on September 24th at 6:00pm at St. Peter’s Church.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Bennington and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Bennington Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.

The Arlington "Reorg" will be on September 24th at 5:30pm at the Arlington Community House.

The Winhall "Reorg" will be on September 23rd at 4:00pm at Winhall Bicentennial Park.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Winhall and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Winhall Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.

The Pownal "Reorg" will be on September 21st at 3pm at the Solomon Wright Public Library.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Pownal and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Pownal Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and two delegates and two alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.
        
      
      Shaftsbury Town Committee Caucus and Reorg
The Shaftsbury "Reorg" will be on September 18th at 6pm at the Shaftsbury Town Offices.
We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Shaftsbury and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome.       Postcard Party
We'll be handwriting postcards to voters in districts across the country where their representative voted for the disastrous Republican budget bill. We'll let them know what their representative voted for, and urge them to hold their representative accountable for this action.

      50501: The People's Movement - 50 Protests, 50 States
A peaceful protest has been called for Town Meeting Day, Tuesday, March 4, from 12 to 1 pm at the Four Corners in Bennington. The spontaneous action is called by "50501," a nationwide grassroots movement to stand up for democracy with 50 protests in 50 states in one day.
