Vermont law requires political parties to reorganize every two years, with town, county and state caucuses meeting to dissolve and reorganize their committees. Our Shaftsbury  "Reorg" will be on September 18th at 6pm at the Shaftsbury Town Offices.

We’ll convene a caucus to which anyone who is registered to vote in Shaftsbury and is not caucusing with another political party is welcome. The caucus will elect the new Shaftsbury Democratic Town Committee, which will then nominate and elect a chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, and delegates and alternates to the Bennington County Democratic Committee.
